Specifically for the marking of shipping channels, sandbanks and other shallow waters, PINTSCH ABEN developed the plastic RIVER BUOY PAS-630 which has an outside diameter of Ø630 mm. The PAS-630 buoy can be applied for all inner waters. Owing to it’s low mass, only a relatively light-weight anchorage will be required. This feature  makes the PAS-630 the ideal choice for temporarily  applications as these kind of waterway markings should be easy to handle.  

The buoy body consists of 3 rotomoulded sections from  UV-stabilised high density polyethyleen (HDPE). This material is longwearing, discoloration-proof and therefore fully maintenance-free. The ballast rings are situated in the black bottom section. The RIVER BUOY PAS-630 comes with a lifting lug on top and a three-way adjustable anchor lug for the mooring chain. Both galvanised carbon steel lugs are designed for a minimal break strength of 7.000 kg. To improve visibility in the dark, a number of retro-reflection strips are attached around the top section. An aluminium radar reflector is integrated inside the top section.
