PINTSCH ABEN's advanced PROSTAR photovoltaic system controller is one of the most reliable battery charge regulators available. PROSTAR controllers are specifically designed for maritime applications. Depending on the quantity of the generated solar energy, you can choose between 2 standard models: the PROSTAR 15 or 30 for 15 or 30 Amperes maximum input current.  

PROSTAR controllers are suitable for both maintenance-free and conventional (flooded type) 12 or 24-Volt batteries. The integrated microprocessor circuit automatically selects for a 12 or 24-Volt system and compensates load voltage for ambient temperature. Batteries are disconnected electronically when battery voltage drops below a low-voltage setpoint. This guarantees maximum battery life. To secure total operational durability in severe maritime conditions, the entire processor print of the PROSTAR is cast in a moistureproof resin. On the PROSTAR’s control panel 5 LED indicators show battery type (sealed/flooded type), battery charge level (full/half-full/empty) and  battery charging.
