PA LUMIWAY orientation lighting unit

Based on the newest LED-technology, PINTSCH ABEN developed an innovative orientation lighting for industrial, railway or maritime applications. The strip formed lighting unit can be mounted or integrated at the bottom part of a hand railing and illuminate floor surfaces of walk ways along railway tracks, sidewalks, paths, stairs, harbour ramps, passageways etc. to increase safety. This new orientation lighting is now available under the brand name PA LUMIWAY.  

The PA LUMIWAY-units come with vulcanised connection cables on both sides and are parallel connected one-to-another using Amphenol connectors. The units operate on a safe 42 Volt voltage. Depending on the total walk way to be illuminated, 60 units can be looped on one single power cable. To optimise light distribution the two LED rows point at different angles towards the walk surface.  

In standard design the PA LUMIWAY holds 2x12 LED’s. Should you need extra illumination (e.g. for emergency exit routes in tunnels) you can order a type with 2x24 LED’s. This type will also allow a loop of 60 units connected to one power supply. The LED’s are casted in the U-shaped stainless steel strip profile using a watertight epoxy raisin.
