The application of a number of light emitting diodes (LED’s) as a substitute for electric bulbs has a major advantage: the LED-life is approximately 100.000 burning hours which enables construction of lanterns with a (maintenance-free) life of 15 years or more. Pintsch Aben uses LED’s of the latest generation, which have ultra high light capacities. Doing this way, a relatively small number of LED’s is required, a lens can be omitted and a compact design is generated. The new, compact LEDFORCE surely lives up to its name. The massive, stainless steel housing with lexan tube section is indestructibly strong and can not be opened from the outside. The LEDFORCE is available with red, green, yellow or white LED’s and standard set up with an integrated electronic flasher and a twilight switch. The housing is durably white coated and topped by a bird pin.
